Upon arrival. Our spacious suite led directly to a gorgeous garden, and enjoying breakfast outdoors, surrounded by lush greenery, was good. The evening meals also surpassed expectations and were well-prepared.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Excellent staff, varied breakfast, beautiful location short walk to the Cape of Good Hope in good time, the top sights in Cape Town, and the beautiful vineyards. A decent size and huge room, with a big size bathroom. Very clean beds and great facilities.

Staying at Glen Avon Lodge was a good retreat. The warm welcome from the team made a lasting impression. Our Double Room with Garden View offered beautiful sights of the meticulously maintained gardens. The room was well-decorated, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, complete with complimentary dressing gowns. Each morning, breakfast was an absolute highlight. It featured a good spread with everything from sweet fruits to both continental and hot options. Chilling on the balcony while enjoying breakfast overlooking lush gardens added a magical touch to each day. Staff were genuinely attentive. On the downside, we faced some challenges with the internet connectivity being variable, a bit tricky to stay connected at times. The combination of comfort, service, and relaxing ambiance makes Glen Avon Lodge a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Cape Town.

A perfect Cape Town getaway 🇿🇦
The brekkie spread was just lekker, and the staff were so friendly, always ready to help. Chilling by the clean pool was a vibe, seemed like a little paradise. The room was comfy and tastefully decorated.
Had a slight issue with the WiFi being a bit slow now and then.

The beautifully maintained gardens offer a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The spacious Double Room with Garden View is a cozy retreat, with tasteful decor and a comfortable ambiance that sets it apart from standard offerings.
Unfortunately, the breakfast options could benefit from more variety as it remained unchanged throughout the stay, which may not satisfy everyone's palate. The pool water was surprisingly cold, detracting from the overall experience. Some areas of the hotel showed signs of wear and tear, including loose tiles, which hinted at a need for maintenance to uphold a higher standard. It's worth noting that bottled water in the rooms is not included in the rate, which may seem unreasonable given the price. While the experience was decent, it didn't fully meet the expectations for a high-end retreat.

What a lovely place! The staff genuinely. Special shoutout to Hans, super nice guy! The breakfast was amazing with lots of options, and I loved the bar area for evening drinks. Only thing is, the WiFi could be a bit spotty sometimes. Would totally recommend staying here for the vibe and warmth!

I absolutely loved my stay, especially enjoying the beautiful terrace breakfast overlooking the gardens and the delicious fine dining in the evenings. Relaxing by the lovely pool and taking in the garden views was just what I needed. The only tiny suggestion is to consider having a bit more variety at breakfast, but seriously, who’s complaining when everything else was so great! 😊

The hotel's brand-new rooms were exceptionally comfortable, and the staff was competent. the location was very central and unbeatably close to Constantia shops. Additionally, the Grand Village Shops were only a mile away from the property.
